The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is on its way to launch soon and could begin sales in October. We’ve only seen this device in leaks before, but now, a One UI 8 test run conducted by the company puts it right on track for a debut in the fourth quarter of 2025. This is everything we know about the S25 FE.
From what we’ve gathered, a leaker with the handle @Alfaturk16 on Twitter/X has somehow found the S25 FE’s software on Samsung firmware servers. The phone seems to have the model number SM-S731B, which, by the way, has appeared several times before in leaks.
GalaxyClub spilled the details about S25 FE’s software earlier, which perfectly aligns with today’s report. The phone indeed has a stable version of One UI 8 (Android 16) running on it. “S731BXXU0AYFB” is the firmware code the leaker found on Samsung servers, and he also provided an image for reference.
There’s no official date yet; however, we can’t help but suspect a launch is on its way, and it could happen as early as September 2025. That’s usually when the pre-orders begin. The sales might be pushed to the next month, in October 2025, if it follows the timeline of its predecessor.
So far, the fans are not happy with the SoC featured on the Samsung Galaxy FE new model. There are rumors on the web saying this newcomer is going to reuse the Exynos 2400e chip that also came with last year’s S24 Fan Edition model. Without the new Exynos 2500, which is also coming in the Galaxy Z Flip 7, this could turn out to be a controversial release.
But we do have some upgrades in the camera department that could offset the fans’ disappointment. The S25 FE will get an upgraded 12MP selfie camera (the S24 FE has a 10MP front shooter). As for the rear camera setup, there is no change in the main 50MP lens or the Ultrawide 12MP shooter. The telephoto camera could get an updated sensor if the leaks are true.
This time around, its zoom lens will have a 10MP outsole, which is the same as the vanilla Galaxy S25. Also, its battery could be 4700mAh with the old 25W charging standard that we saw on the S24 FE.
